All MIMOA projects in Google Earth
Author: Naomi, Posted: June 22nd, 2008
Now that we’ve implemented the Google Earth placemark files (KML), we’ve also made a single file for you to download, which contains ALL PROJECTS that are published on MIMOA. This permanent link to the KML-file is automatically updated by Google. So if you download this set of projects to your computer, you will always have the latest information in Google Earth.
DOWNLOAD THE ‘ALL-MIMOA-PROJECTS-KML’ FILE HERE.
Save it to your computer and store it in an appropriate place. Great to see those architectural projects on the globe, together with all kind of extra data that Google provides. Like 3D buildings! This is the Nemo in Amsterdam:
And here: the M.H. de Young Museum in San Francisco.

Or check out the Amsterdam Museum Square area:

Spread the word, and link to this blogpost and to the MIMOA.kmz

July 7th, 2008 at 9:49 pmi suppose that this kml file will be updated along the time, so it seems i good idea to post the version number or something like this (history log, update date…) to track these updated versions…

July 29th, 2008 at 3:30 pmHi Jose,
July 29th, 2008 at 4:14 pmWe will automatically update the KMZ file EVERY DAY – so … we’re not really into version-tracking.
And above all, the file that you’ve downloaded will also automatically be updated by Google. So, no need to keep checking the latest version: Google Earth will do the work for you!

January 22nd, 2009 at 4:00 pmI’ve just downloaded the KMZ file, and Google Earth complains that the file is empty, could it be that the latest version of Google Earth doesn’t recognize the file?
I’m using the mac version of Google Earth (version 5.0.11733.9347, build date

Hi Pedro,
May 22nd, 2009 at 6:52 pmThat’s strange: I just tested it with Google Earth (5.0.11733.9347) for Windows Vista, and for Mac OS. And for me, both work fine. Hmm. I’ll email you, and see what we can do.
Hi Pedro, and all other Mac-using visitors:
Downloading the KMZ file with Safari takes a bit of a ‘walk around’, since the file isn’t saved correctly. Here’s a post explaining how to fix this.
