The Martinspark sits across the road from the Mozart Strasse apartments also by B&E, on the edge of the town centre. Rectangular in plan, the ground and first floors are given to commercial activities. The 98 hotel rooms are arranged in a 'U' shape around a central planted court, primarily on the second and third floors. The fourth side of the court, at these levels, is devoted to small starter office spaces. Private apartments are found on two sides of the fourth floor. The entrance canopy is formed by the hotel's restaurant: A copper clad 'ark'. This structure features an art installation by locally born artist Wolfgang Flatz: At busy periods water cascades down the windows of the restaurant to represent the Biblical flood. In the double height elliptical lobby this theme is echoed by drops of water which fall over 5m from the ceiling into a giant pink bucket. A timber clad, single storey conference facility sits opposite the entrance and completes the composition.
