The Sint- Pieters Square is a significant urban open space in Ghent. It hosts many events because of the size, clarity, the proximity of the city center and good accessibility. The new construction of the pedestrian plaza and the underground parking reinforces the original qualities of the old square. The material concept represents an important starting point in the approach of the square. The material used is uniform, and sober. This allows the adjacent facade architecture and the architecture to reveal at his best.
