Education & Research 4
The laboratory building Education and Research 4 is located on a strategic place in the master plan of AWG. The building should capture the research needs in the short term and also provided strategic expansion opportunities in the medium term.
Flexibility and sustainability were therefore the starting point of the design.
The structure is designed in a way the current and future program can function optimally. The public fourth floor is the key to this phased development. This public layer provides not only access and the physical connection to the existing and future buildings, but also contains the public functions of the program (cafeteria, auditorium, outdoor terrace).
