This complex of training facilities for the Brazilian Army consists of three buildings, as visible from the street. The first is a huge and rigid main building containing offices. The second and third, set in front of the main building, a white freeform monument and a grey zigzagged auditorium. The striking monument symbolizes the sword of the Duque de Caxias, patron of the Brazilian army, the construction clamshell is the guard of the sword.
