Now that the 2010 Winter Olympics are over, legacy conversion of the Vancouver Olympic Centre has begun. In Olympic mode, the curling venue provided a four-sheet competition surface surrounded by 6,000 temporary seats. The reconfiguration will comprise a community centre, an ice rink, an eight-sheet curling club and a branch library. The Aquatic Centre portion of the facility is now open to the public.
