CEIBS Campus Beijing

CEIBS (China Europe International Business School) is the leading business school in Asia. With its main campus located in Shanghai, CEIBS provides higher business education to top businessmen from all over the world. Its MBA program is ranked #1 in Asia and its EMBA 13th globally by the prestigious Financial Times. CEIBS had decided to expand and build a new campus in Beijing for which contracted IDOM to carry out the services of Design Architect. The New campus in Beijing occupies 19000 m2 in a three floor building within a 33100 m2 plot in Zhong Guan Cun Science Park on the outskirts of Beijing. The building is conditioned by its teaching function, the masterplanning of the park which proposes the building as if they were islands in the middle of the ocean and, by the need of undertaking the Design in two phases without realizing it as unfinished at the end of its first phase.
