The object of the library of the Philosophical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno is situated in the middle of an urban block shaped by heterogeneous buildings that grew during 19th and 20th centuries. It complements and closes the area of the Philosophical Faculty and creates a dividing line between the territory of the faculty and the residential part of the block.
