Morava River Catchment Company
A building on the dividing line between the city and the outskirts, following the bend of the river Morava. It is static like the city and dynamic like the river at the same moment. The stone socle resembles flood protection (and actually works as such) while the brickwork is a reference to the Terezian fortifications of Olomouc. The longish shape of the building was only possible because the place's identity was more important than practical considerations of administrative buildings: the offices are only on one side of the corridor!
