Shopping malls are often somewhat self-absorbed complexes, introverted boxes, devoid of identity. Yet the blank walls make an excellent projection surface and this is precisely how they have been used at the Europark shopping mall in Prague. The south façade (of enamelled white glass) and the 180-metre-long north façade play host to shifting light choreographies generated by 37 outdoor colour changers and 15 multifunctional floodlights, mounted in specially developed weather-resistant Plexiglas.
