The house and studio in Paris for Le Corbusier's friend the painter Ozenfant is an early example of 'minimal' architecture, a prototype of the Domino house and a manifestation of some of the principles which Le Corbusier was to set out in his famous 'five points.' It possessed a geometrical clarity inside and out which has since been lost with the elimination of the north-light roof and its replacement by a flat one.

I emailed Foundation Le Corbusier in Paris and they regretfully informed me that it is not possible to visit Ozenfant. Seems this will be the case indefinitely. Drat.

Hi Byron, you can find more information on this website: rendezvousfrance. Apparently you can call with fondation le corbusier to inform if the house is open for visits. And according to this guide book the interior can be visited by appointment (see page 46). Hope this is of help. Let us know how it turned out.

While it is possible to view the house from the street, as far as I could tell it's not possible to go inside at all. I asked a man (probably the owner) who happened to come out for a moment and he said it was not a gallery but a private house. The text under Opening hours suggests there may be a public gallery existing as a separate entity however, so if someone would like to make this clear...?
