Diener & Diener

location Berlin
function embassy
contributed by archlab

The Swiss Embassy in Berlin was built in 1871 by Paul Baumgarten. It is the only prewar building - apart from the Reichstag - that remains in the area. The extension by Diener & Diener keeps the nineteenth-century building almost unchanged, enlarging it asymmetrically.
