Porsche Customer Center

At the core of the Porsche factory, between production plant and test track, lies the customer centre. It as a presentation platform, for the delivery of new models, and also houses the administration and workshop for Porsche’s four-by-four, the Cayenne. The building consists of a massive base of exposed concrete topped by a conical tower clad in metal panels. This striking landmark is visible from far; and its observation gallery offers a superb view of the extensive Porsche complex. The tower’s base and its upper part are spatially separate; access is by 2 entrance levels linked by ramps and open stairways. This way operations can continue uninterrupted in the lower-level workshop and delivery station while the open-air terrace hosts a sports car presentation and a chamber orchestra delights the ears of up to 500 guests in the tower’s top floor, including a circular convention hall complete with a stage, gastronomic venues and an exhibition gallery for historic models.
