A small concrete chapel on the edge of a field in Mechernich, southern Germany, built by local farmers in honor of their patron saint, the 15th-century hermit Bruder Klaus.

i got there by bike from Mechernich, its a 40 - 60 minutes journey if u don't get lost, which is likely to happen.
Eifel is stunning tho, and the chapel is the most intense piece of architecture i've visited so far.
i highly recommend this trip!!

Opening hours The chapel is open from 10.00h to 16.00h - but this might change depending on the season.
How to get there? When in Wachendorf, take the Rißdorfer Weg and follow the road till you see the chapel on your right. The road to the chapel has been closed for cars, so you need to walk a bit from the car park to reach the building.
