Stadium Ferrarini New Roof
This stadium is used mostly for football-related activities and less often for athletics. The plan for the new roof intended to realise on the front façade (hosting the entrance) a vertical shield along its length, in order to provide better protection from the cold winds, the bad winter weather and rain. The external side protection is formed by modular panels in oxidised-iron sheets, applied to a metallic substructure that is fixed to the roof. The main façade is characterized by a variation in the disposition of some of the modular panels, generating rectangular openings in the closed and compact front. Moreover, this renovation was the opportunity to adjust the entire sport complex from a functional point of view. The distributive simplification makes access easier, both in and out, in terms of dimension and visual perception.
