The Casa Del Fascio in Lissone is one of many former Fascist institutions in Italy. They were built during the Fascist period between World War I and World War II. These institutions were designed to be gathering places on Saturdays to spread the Fascist propaganda. The Casa Del Fascio in Lissone is not as well known as the one in Como but is no less important. At first your eye is drawn to the pink marble platform jutting out of the brick enclosed staircase, which was used by Mussolini for his public speeches. Afterwards you realize how small you are in comparison to the huge public piazza that is still the main centre of Lissone today.
