The SM's - Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch is a museum of contemporary art and design. It has taken up a temporary residence in a former industrial building in the Paleiskwartier area, just behind the central train station. The building has got some nice large roof windows in the saw-tooth roof. French architect Matali Crasset designed the interior and entrance. Also the furniture in the library, shop and restaurant are by her hand. Even the way-finding graphics and website – all is covered with bright candy colours.

How to get there? By train: 's-Hertogenbosch station. Exit: Westzijde (Paleiskwartier). Take the escalator/stairs, then follow the signs to the Stedelijk Museum (SM's) (5-10 min. walk). By bus: numbers 66, 121, 135, 137. Stop: Branderijstraat / Onderwijsboulevard. Go down Branderijstraat and Lederstraat to Magistratenlaan (runs parallel with the railway line); SM's entrance is past the Heliconcollege (around 10 min. walk).
