Built on a beautiful location, next to a park, and just outside the city centre, this modern style house replaced an older, original building. The existing building was changed and renovated and by the look of it's neighbours, it must have been a radical remodelling for the owners. The ground floor is now fully surrounded by a floor to ceiling structural glazed fašade, with sheets of glass in sizes from 6 to 3 meters. This anonymous modern glass wrap forms a sharp contrasts with the typical house-shape of the floors above. And not just in shape: the fašade of the second and third floor is painted black, while the glass is greenish white.
The house lies about 10 minutes walking from the city centre. Bus number 156 and 61, 62 leave from the Central Train station, and stop at the Pettelaarseweg. Walk for about 2 minutes towards the Zuiderpark.
