The Cruquius Quarter will be built in phases: a series of 4 individual buildings, varying from 2700 to 3300 m2, all 16 m tall. All built with the same prefab concrete building-system which reduces building costs and execution time. Dedato already designed several other office buildings with this system and succeeded in making a very modern, modest, industrial and attractively simple design. With the prefab concrete elements large spans and high spaces can easily be made. The location is very beautiful: directly on the water, with views on the recently developed housing district of the Eastern Docklands, very close to the highway and city-exits.
