The existing row of houses is replaced by an optimized modern version of the terraced house. In order to build as many houses as possible on the site, the width of the houses is brought to the minimum according the regulation. As a result the houses become quiet deep accomplishing the surface asked by the client. As a side effect the façade known as the most expensive part of a building also is reduced in relation to the surface. In order to bring enough daylight the opening are maximized. Besides an innovative concept is developed for the outside of the house. Storage and cars are integrated in the house on ground floor. The accessing street is covered by terraces on the first floor.
