The Scheepstimmermansstraat in Amsterdam consists of row houses designed by different architects and realized for private clients. To the south, the houses directly face the water. This house was designed for mountaineer Bart Vos and was built in a black concrete frame. On the street side, there is parking space for a car and a patio with an acacia tree. Behind this lies the four-storey high dwelling. Glass for the façade and the roof was extensively used.
