IJburg Block 51A
Block 51A on IJburg is a building block of 26 houses, located next to the Theo van Gogh-park. The houses were designed with 2 different sides, each answering the character of the space they face. The sides facing the park appear massive, their façades built with deep red brick. The other sides have a much more open character, with large, sun-inviting windows, terraces and space for a private jetty. The houses were available in different types, which is visible only in the rear façade.
