Temporary office and public service area for the sub department 'Stadsdeel Zuid' of the municipality of the city of Amsterdam is located in the existing 'Tripolis' building of Aldo van Eyck (1994). Because of the temporary character of the project, the plan is realised with a minimum of budget, using the benefits of the existing building. In the public service area, a new 60 meter long desk is curving through the different areas, connecting the reception desk, municipality service desks and small meeting rooms. Because of the organic structure of the building with a difficult routing, Fokkema & Partners Architecten paid extra attention to the signing in the public area and the back offices.
