The idea of the plan was to make a building with a strong individuality in which the users will feel at home. The building is independent but it has a strong relation with the adjoining farm. This becomes internally clear by the linear route which links the main entrance to the farm. The building has been functionally organised as a large house. The overview gives the users mutual contact which is fundamental for the healing process and the well-being of the users. The architectonic idiom and use of materials fits in the surrounding buildings in the area but also adds a new identity.
