The urban plan for this location asked for 4 urban villa's with apartments. On the initiative of Rudy Uytenhaak, an alternative plan was developed with more houses, a large number of family houses (since more than three-quarters of the neighbourhood already consists of apartments of about 70m2) and more environments surrounding the houses by double-use of the ground. Behind two apartment buildings that slope down with terraces from eight to two floors, a new raised street was created on top of a parking garage. Along this intimate street, in the 'sound-shadow' of the dike, you will find the family houses.
