The entrance building of Paleis Het Loo (Palace “Het Loo”) is a modern building with a “modest allure”. Together with the national monuments and the gardens it forms the National Museum. The building is a clear end of the axis that leads from and towards the Palace is connected through the axis to the center of a square. The building is clearly visible from the parking lots and presents itself as the face of the museum to its visitors. The building consists of a entrance hall with facilities for ticket sales, a museum shop, a multifunctional auditorium, bar, exposition room, office, toilet services and lobbies for larger groups. The building also has a depot for storage and conservation of the museum’s costume collection underground.
