This project entails a public space of transition and an underground car park at the southern access to Den Haag Hollands Spoor Station. In strong relation with the water, the design traces a slanted axis by means of two pedestrian bridges as short-cuts over the canal and the resulting triangular-shaped space is treated as a piece of land-art: a piece of land in the shape of a quarter of a circle slids out and tilts off the ground and everything on it that has broken off is taken with it! Trees in planters filled with soil have fallen into the water, leaving their negative forms on the quay that can be used as seating by the canal. The area in front of the station is partly regularly planted with trees while a huge modular platform of 50x30 metres leads to the Haagse Hogeschool.
