Kruidenbuurt housing

The renovation of the neighbourhood 'Kruidenbuurt' fits in the policy of the municipality of Eindhoven considering urban renewal. Within this project the ambitions of housing cooperation Trudo and the municipality of Eindhoven are translated into a city design and vision for image quality. The working-out of this projects can be defined in terms of clarity, sustainability and timelessness. With these definitions in mind the project with the credo an urban garden like neighbourhood for the 21st century, public space and the buildings were designed integrally. Garden walls form a clear transition from public to private space. One of the goals of the project was to create a living area with different types of dwellings but with a coherent architecture.
