The shared facilities for the High Tech Campus have been collected in an elongated building 'The Strip'. Located directly on the central pond of the campus, the 400m long building has been designed to connect people and stimulate sharing of knowledge and cooperation. All social facilities are brought together in The Strip: three restaurants, two bars, a conference centre with auditorium, a range of shops and services, and the Campus Wellness Center. The program is divided into three clusters, each in two layers, allowing phased implementation. Each cluster consists of two sections, which open a central strip, where the entrances are located. The two components are connected on the floor with an air bridge. The expressive curved roof has a wide overhanging, creating a dry footpath and bicycle path along the water to protect against the rain. The roof is designed as an insulated steel sheet, with a curved wooden ceiling underneath.
