The "High Bridge" is a pedestrian-bridge that spans the river Maas and connects the historical centre of Maastricht and the recent developed district "Céramique". The total length of the bridge is 261 meter by a width of 7.20 meter. It rises 10 m. above the river. In 2004 it won the National Steel Prize.
