Facility Centre NIEKEE has been housed in a spectacular building. The inside is 'a dynamic world' with its 'floating' skyboxes in the central area, a non-traditional setting and its complete transparency. The school distinguishes itself in every aspect from a traditional school. The school building has been intended specifically for the students in the upper structure of the sectors technique and economy. The user is the central focus point for the design. This becomes apparent in the organization of the building around a central area with its open learning centre. The building has been set up this way so that a maximum transparency is reached and interactive relations, learning with and from each other, are promoted. The facade exists out of structural concrete elements, with on the outside coloured metal elements, all 27 standard colours of the supplier.
