House of architect and office BBVH. After a metamorphosis of 1½ year BBVH Architects turned the former Baby Boutique Jacqueline and an old barn into the new home for their office and house for the owner. They brought back the charm of the 100-year old barn by reintroducing the wooden bevel siding. Of course there had to change a lot in this barn to cater modern building regulations and comfort requirements. The architects were fascinated by the simplicity of the barn and in each design decision they asked theirselves the question: Is it simple, is it clear and is it obvious?
