VIP Centre Schiphol Amsterdam

The defining characteristic of the luxurious VIP lounge at Schiphol Airport is Dutch design; everything has been designed and decorated by Dutch designers. The interior was designed by architect bureau Concrete and designers including Piet-Hein Eek, Marcel Wanders, Joep van Lieshout, Hella Jongerius, Studio Job, Edward van Vliet, Maarten Baas , Jurgen Bey, René Holten, Irma Boom and Petra Blaisse. Use of the VIP-centre is reserved for members of the Royal Family, Ministers and State Secretaries of the Netherlands and abroad, international diplomats, trade delegations and top directors in international business. The Royal Lounge is an enormous living room with lounge sofas, and Royal Family pictures on the bookshelves. The wall paper in the room is created from 5,500 mini reproductions of the national coat of arms. The new centre is accessible from landside and has a private parking area with security facilities.
