In order to do as much justice as possible to the beautiful park along the Goirleseweg in Tilburg, the proposal is to restrict the cubic content of the office for the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM) to two floors. The office is entirely glazed, which means that the surrounding nature can be perceived even in the depths of the rooms. The glass facade, combined with an atrium and skylight, was created out of a desire for maximum daylight. For reasons of comfort and low energy consumption levels, a climate wall with sun blinds has been chosen. For the BOM, who wants to add shape and substance to an active and recognisable development and innovation function, the fact that its new office is a pilot project of sustainable and low-energy non-residential building, is an attractive feature. Unfortunately, BOM's new management has decided to drop the atrium from the plans in order to increase the rentable area.
