A design for a villa near a horse stable, just outside a residential area at the border of a woodland. The house has an open and a closed side. The closed side of the building is located on the street and woodland side for privacy in the home and minimize light emission in the direction of the woodland. The other side of the house opens to the stables and paddocks for the horses. By partial submersion of the bedrooms in the ground there is room for extra height in the superjacent living room and kitchen. The position of the housing functions on the first floor offer more privacy and a view of the meadow.
