Het Bouwhuis

East of Zoetermeer, next to the A12 highway in-between The Hague and Gouda stands the new Bouwhuis (‘building-house’), designed for several organizations that are involved in the building sector in The Netherlands. On top of a 2 layers parking, is an office building with 11 floors in a T-shaped plan. All collective functions and meeting facilities are clustered on the top two floors, which hang out over the office floors below. This composition makes that all visitors have a great view over the nearby highways. By not placing the parking underground, the first few office floors also have an attractive view outside.
