Holtenbroek housing

In a postwar neighbourhood the urban plan called for two blocks of row-houses: 78 row houses of various types. MADE mixed the programme in such a way that a maximum of contrast between the different types was created, making the standard row houses look like individual houses. At the same time the houses are brought together by the materialisation. The black brick, consistent with the overall urban plan and the concrete band. The concrete band runs along the houses dividing and uniting the houses. All houses are based on the same width, allowing an efficient building process and and at the same time flexibility for the future owners in planning their ideal house.
