Artist Paula Rego chose Eduardo Souto de Moura to be the architect of this museum, which houses a number of her graphic works and some of her husband, Victor Willing, artist and art critic, who died in 1988. The 'House of the Stories and Drawings of Paula Rego', should be a space of "fun, unpretentious, alive, full of joy and lots of evil." This building makes use of certain aspects of the region's historical architecture, which is here reinterpreted in a contemporary way. The land and trees which previously existed at the site are incorporated as fundamental elements, while four wings of varying heights and sizes, make up the building.

Therefore, my opinion has the value that you want to give.
I advise that you visit the local and form your own opinion as, certainly, will not be time wasted, and who knows, you may also consider that this is a beautiful project, well concretized and involved in the area - my final advice ... quietly enjoy the architectural details, the expositions, the environment and relax sipping a drink outside.
