Pastoral Pablo VI centre was created by Arq. José Carlos Loureiro, and opened by João Paulo II's pope in 13th May of 1982, in his first visit to Fátima. This centre has the purpose of creating conditions for conferences, meetings and congress. It allows to fill one amphitheatre with 2124 sits, another one with 615 sits, 8 rooms with about 50 sits, one restaurant for 400 people and some beds. This building is known as the culture spot of Fátima, and the element that balance and complete the religious and cultural issue of the city, and allows to foreign or resident people to enjoy both environment.

The architect that had project this complex told recently that soon there will be some modifications on the building, after 26 years of existence and being claimed as one of the best contemporary buildings of the season.
