MVRDV has build 6 different pedestrian bridges in Leiria over the river Liz. Each has it's own characteristic. Bridge of the Garden of St. Augustine (Balcony Bridge): allows people to stop and relax. Bridge of the Convent of St. Augustine (Bridge Bar): a small living room can be found this one. Bridge Park Olhalvas (Picnic Bridge): The bridge turns into a valley where picnic tables and benches are placed. The bridge is itself part of the surrounding public park. Bridge Market Hall (Playground Bridge ): A bridge with playground facilities is placed over the river. The crossing to the sports neighborhood is done by this bridge. Bridge Park St. Romão (Double Bridge). The T(h)ree Bridge has a central crossing for 3 different destinations.
