This small pavilion located between the trees in the gardens of the Crystal Palace has two levels with a double height vestibule. The library appears as an "objet trouvé" in the nature, participating in this spontaneous environment. The volume resembles an old train wagon, lifted slightly off the ground turning it into a light and welcoming space. The used materials were chosen according to the environment, following the textures and colours of the nature. The structure and wall panels are made out of wood and the windows are sheets of transparent polycarbonate located at the height of the children with awesome views to the gardens. It's a building that fits perfectly in this natural environment.
