College of Education of Setúbal

The building of the College of Education of Setúbal was inaugurated in June 29, 1993 by the then Prime Minister Aníbal Cavaco Silva. In 1993, Álvaro Siza Vieira was awarded with the project of the ESE. Two wings of the building's two floors fit the route of access to the lobby of the building, located under an axis perpendicular. This broad cross space is the core from where the galleries and the areas of greatest surface are accessed (Cantina, CDI, CRE). The complex, schematically an 'H', is located slightly elevated in relation to the adjacent agricultural land and is equally accessible from the existing path.
