Swimming Pool Kosutnjak

This project for all buildings within the swimming pool area of Kosutnjak provides rehabilitation and adaptation to the needs of competition 'Universiade Belgrade 2009'. The project includes a pool diving tower, a building for athletes and wardrobe. The swimming pool is brought to the prescribed measurements, also a ten metres high hill with a diving tower is provided. One and three meter high hills are designed as new ones. Everything is designed in relation to the standard of FISU and FINA for jumping into the water. The adaptation of the building for athletes is to improve the spatial organization of content and improving the level of the final materialisation and equipment, at the level of creating a functional, rational and easy to maintain space in the further exploitation. The new wardrobe provides a functional layout, the extension of sanitary capacity and improves the standard of equipment and materialization.
