Hotel Silken Gran Teatro

This project is located at the same place as the ancient theatre and it had to maintain the main façade. The building incorporates some references from previous use, and some elements are rescued from demolition, like rare photos took in the 'tramoya', theatrical rigging system, of the theatre. The building has a flexible open partitioning in the entrance zone, with reception, bar, restaurant in a continuous open space. Some rooms are interior, with light and fresh air towards a courtyard, designed with a bamboo façade and a skylight with orange pieces of glass. The lifts are panoramic and overlook the courtyard. The new east and south façade is clad with ventilated green stone.
