“Building a void” The natural and urban character, qualities of a diffuse reality in which each element looks for his place, regardless of its urban planning. The architect proposed to refine this chaotic state, this filtration of vegetation, asphalt, people and buildings, to develop a heterogeneous place and to build a void. This intermediary space becomes the concept's characteristic. The flat plot lies between two extremes: the road that gives access and the forest of autochthonous oaks that delimits it in a natural form. The architect proposed a sequence of curvy concrete walls, oriented N-NW: a permeable border that defines two levels of dialogue with the surroundings. Firstly its globosely appearance: this expresses its physical character, its mission of taking root, reflecting the idea of implicit movement on the road in front. Secondly its concave inner appearance, defining a void wherein a folded wall evolves, marking out the inner spaces and its relation with the forest.
