The Parque de las Ciencas de Granada (Granada Science Park) is the first interactive museum of science in Andalusia and one of the most excellent in southern Europe. From its inauguration in May of 1995, the museum has grown in four phases to now constitute more than 70.000 square metres in surface area. Located in a development zone in the city - architecturally disconnected and with badly-defined limits - the project acts as a great, unique cover that equips the space with continuity. Floating on an inclined land plane, a new topography is created. The construction resembles an open hand that lodges between its fingers the different pieces of the program.
