Originally, this building on a narrow plot of 3 metres wide by 26 metres deep, was in a severe state of neglect and decay. The original façade and stairs were retained, and the building was restored with traditional lime mortar. The new building opens its large windows towards Mostenses Square. Its design is an abstraction of the traditional windows of nineteenth-century Madrid.
