The Headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce in Madrid is situated next to the highway M-40. The The building has clean lines and is very transparant, with three openings that allow light to enter and to look outwards from the 'camera' (room). This geometric distribution, a bucket inside another, as well as the materials used is not arbitrary. It connects the interior with the environment outside the building. The facades combine glass, white concrete and carpentry of aluminum, thus creating a set of materials and volumes. The opening leading to the motorway is closed and is metallic, that of the entry is translucent and weightless and that connects to the park is glass transparent. The latter, for the administration of the Council, is a supporting facade and gives life to the two sides held cameras, dedicated to the assemblies and meetings.
