Ponte Sarela

This project, which is currently underway, includes the rehabilitation of an old tannery for hotel and spa uses and for housing in relation to the aforementioned uses, in order to preserve and enhance the complex as the climax of the series of industrial facilities located alongside the River Sarela. Constructed as a lightweight structure, the complex's character meets halfway between industrial and rural, resting on the new terraces covered with vegetation. The constructions link and integrate the complex into its surroundings. The architectural intervention involves integrating the new into what already exists, preserving its character as a ruin, without imitative or historicist intentions.
