The aim of this residential project is to move past the standard designs for social housing, combining a series of intentions that, whilst at all times respecting applicable regulations, enhance the quality of design, moving towards the concept of a 'living machine'. In this regard, the image of the building, with its neutral façades perforated at regular intervals, evokes images of architecture conceived as a habitable object. The main problem to be resolved is the different heights of the volume caused by the surrounding topography. Every attempt has been made not to break up the volumes as a result of these different levels since the limited height of the pieces would make the scale excessively small and give it a weak appearance in relation to the surroundings. In this respect, the buildings are conceived as volumes treated with single-layer mortar that follow the changing heights of the terrain and are limited on the longest sides by brick planes.
